CURRICULUM @ WPS

Our curriculum is ambitious and aspirational in its nature, embodying the skills, knowledge and understanding for all our learners to progress, whatever their starting point. Our curriculum is learner focused and purpose driven, reflecting our passion to provide high quality teaching which excite and motivate our learners in the classroom and beyond.  Every child in our community will have access to experiences that grow knowledge and develop skills which enable them to be aspirational.

Our Curriculum at Williamstown is aspirational and inclusive and ensures progression throughout the school. It is closely aligned to Curriculum for Wales which embraces 6 areas of learning and experience (AoLEs) - These are Language, Literacy and Communication, Mathematics and Numeracy, Science and Technology, Humanities, Expressive Arts and Health and Wellbeing. 

At Williamstown we enhance our children's learning by inviting many visitors to school so that the children can undertake workshops. We also take the children on a school a range of educational trips to further their understanding and interest.
